ENTRY RULES

SALES PERIOD:

Registration will be open to the runners with a valid UTMB Index from July, 1st 2025 at 11:00 am CET (UTMB Index runners benefit from a 48-hour priority registration window) to July, 3rd 2025 at 11:00 am CET.

At the end of this period, registrations will be open to runners with or without a valid UTMB Index until February, 27th 2026 or until the races are sold out.

There will be no waiting list or reopening of the registrations.

Anyone 18 years old at the date of the race.

ELITE RUNNERS:

In order to give fair recognition to high level athletes and to ensure a fair management of entry applications, we reserve places for elite athletes according to their UTMB Index in the category of the race they chose to compete. Elite runners must register during the registration period. No registration will be accepted after the deadline. Once a distance is sold out, the event organiser has the right to refuse an elite registration.

To secure their spot, all elites athletes must register to a race at least 60 days before the race.

ENTRY FEES:

• UTCC 120 : from 189€ to 229€
• CUT 73 : from 135€ to 165€
• CMT 46 : from 89€ to 129€
• CHT 20 : from 50€ to 65€
• CWR 10 : from 25€ to 40€

An additional 8% administration fee will be charged. Those administration fees are not refundable in case of cancellation.

To another runner:

Registration is personal and non-transferable. Transfers to other athletes are not permitted.

Participants may cancel their registration through their dashboard.

Refunds are only available in accordance with the insurance terms and conditions, if subscribed during the registration process.

To another race of the same event :

It is possible to transfer a registration to a shorter distance until 4 weeks before the event and in the limit of places available.

In this case, no refund will be made. The event organiser must be contacted directly via the contact form

It is also possible to ask to transfer a registration to a longer distance but the request will not be automatically accepted and will be at the discretion of the race director.

Transfers are only available if the new distance is not sold out.

Please note that if you have purchased insurance, and then request a transfer to a different race distance, in case of cancellation, you will be eligible for a refund of the original registration fee paid.

It is not possible to defer your registration to future editions of the Chianti Ultra Trail by UTMB event or to other events of the UTMB World Series.

A) Registrations with cancellation insurance: Runners are offered the possibility to subscribe to a cancellation insurance with an external company offered by the organisation during the registration process. Purpose of cancellation insurance is to reimburse registration fees paid for Chianti Ultra Trail by UTMB® event in case a participant applies to cancel his or her registration. 1. In case of documented cause according to the conditions of the insurance company, you will get a 100% refund of the registration fees.
2. If there is no documented cause, 50% of the registration fees will be refunded, according to the insurance terms and conditions.

Runners who wish to subscribe to the cancellation policy will be asked to pay an additional 10% of the total amount, to be added to the registration fee.

To cancel your registration and apply for a refund, you need to access your registration dashboard and click on "Declare a cancellation claim", your registration will be cancelled and your refund request form will be adressed to the insurance.

Cancellation insurance must be booked exclusively at the time of registration.

B) Registrations without cancellation insurance:

There will be no type of refund for runners who wish to cancel their registration and have not contracted their cancellation insurance. You can cancel your registration from your dashboard.

C) Exceptional conditions in case of event cancellation:

If the event or a race is cancelled, or if the event must be organized differently (for example, one or more races must be cancelled), for any reason not attributable to the control of the organisation, more than 30 days before the start, runners may be partially reimbursed for entry fees. In such a case, the amount of the refund would be decided in a way that allows the organization to meet the expenses incurred from the date of cancellation.

Each registration will only be validated upon presentation and verification of a medical certificate, in accordance with Ministerial Decree 18/02/1982.

The medical certificate must comply with the requirements established by Italian law and must be submitted within the deadlines indicated HERE.

If the medical certificate is not presented, the runner will not be allowed to collect their race bib or participate in the race.

Please make sure you can meet these conditions before finalizing your registration, as no refunds will be granted if you fail to comply with these requirements.
