Practical Information

Before starting the registration process, please check you have a MyUTMB account and your race results are linked to your page. Find out here all the info to set up your account.

Registrations will open on July, 1st at 11:00 CET for runners with a valid UTMB Index, and on July, 3rd at 11:00 CET for those without one.

A 48h registration priority window is given to the owners of a valid UTMB Index. Runners without a valid UTMB Index may wait for 2 days before entering the registration process. For more information, please check all the benefits here.

If the registration process continues to loop, please change your device and browser. We advise you to use a computer and the Chrome browser. If your payment has been refused, please try again later, try with another credit card or contact your bank.

If you have registered, but have not received a confirmation email, first check with your bank to see if you have been debited.

• If you have not been debited, try registering again.
• If you have been debited, please check your Spam folder or contact us via our contact form here in case you haven't received any email in your Spam.

Registration will be open until all places have been filled. There will be no waiting list or re-opening of registrations.

You can cancel your registration at any time via your runner's dashboard. If you have not taken out cancellation insurance, no refund will be possible. If you have taken out cancellation insurance, you will be entitled to a full refund of your registration fee in accordance with the insurance terms and conditions HERE.

Please note that it is mandatory to have personal accident insurance that covers any potential search and rescue costs in Italy. This insurance is not included in the registration fee. You may choose an insurance policy of your preference or learn more about the UTMB Group rescue insurance option here.

Please note that this insurance does not replace the cancellation insurance or the other way around

A) Registrations with cancellation insurance:

Runners are offered the possibility to subscribe to a cancellation insurance with an external company offered by the organisation during the registration process. Purpose of cancellation insurance is to reimburse registration fees paid for Chianti Ultra Trail by UTMB® event in case a participant applies to cancel his or her registration.

To cancel your registration and apply for a refund, you need to access your registration dashboard and click on "Declare a cancellation claim", your registration will be cancelled and your refund request form will be adressed to the insurance.

Cancellation insurance must be booked exclusively at the time of registration.

B) Registrations without cancellation insurance:

There will be no type of refund for runners who wish to cancel their registration and have not contracted their cancellation insurance. You can cancel your registration from your dashboard.

Please note that bib transfers, deferrals to future editions, or transfers to other UTMB World Series events are not permitted.

To ensure runners' safety, no bib may be collected by anyone other than the runner.

The list of the mandatory equipment is on the race webpage, there you will find all the information regarding your race.

On the race page, you will find the time slots for dropping off your UTMB World Series drop bag prior to your race. Attention: Make sure to drop off and pick up your UTMB World Series bag during the designated hours for your race

The organization will not ship any UTMB World Series bags to runners who forget to collect them.
