Ultra Trail Chianti Castles
Embark on an extraordinary 120 km journey encompassing an elevation change of 5200 m. This epic adventure begin in Radda in Chianti, offering impressive landscapes during the initial 40 km, meandering through the picturesque hills of Sienese Chianti adorned with vineyards. The latter half presents challenging ascents to Monte Luco and subsequently to Monte San Michele, where the path becomes more rugged. Along this route, you'll encounter 25 castles belong the Ancient League of Chianti on your return to Radda in Chianti.

RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT
To collect their race bibs, athletes must come in person with a valid ID and present the QR code received a few days before the race.
Race bibs will only be handed out to the registered athlete. Delegation is not allowed.
If your registration is incomplete or your medical certificate is not valid, you will not be able to collect your bib or start the race.

Each athlete will receive an official UTMB World Series drop bag at bib collection. Athletes must attach the bib number sticker—provided with their race bib—to the bag.
Bags must be handed in between 3:00 AM and 3:30 AM in Piazza Date. On-site signage will guide you to the correct drop-off location.
You will find your bag first at the Gaiole in Chianti aid station, and then again at the bag deposit in Radda in Chianti (Via degli Ulivi 1).
Only the official bags provided by the organization will be transported to the life base.
Please note: the organization cannot guarantee the exact time when bags will be returned to storage. Athletes can collect their UTMB World Series drop bag upon presentation of their race bib. Bags must be collected within two hours after the end of the race.
Unclaimed bags will not be shipped to athletes under any circumstances.
Athletes are strongly advised not to place valuable items in their bags. The organization accepts no responsibility for theft, loss, or damage to bags or their contents.
